This issue can be related to systemd-resolve does not forward DNS requests to stated DNS server. Newer systemd-resolved refuses to resolve simple names via DNS, i.e. myhost and will only resolve myhost.somedomain.com via DNS. This change is by design. Oct 24, 2019 How To Make Changes In resolv.conf Permanent in Ubuntu
All ubuntu devices on my network are not getting DNS address assigned to them, but every other device on the same subnet is getting the proper settings. The only way I get DNS set is add it manually. I've reconfigured the router, the APs, everything but still no success. I need help!!! Any details or screenshots needed I'll provide. Thanks
